Dear Parishioners, Easter Sunday is always a joyful day. Not only is our Lenten journey complete, but Easter Sunday reminds us of our Christian journey of faith. Without the promise of the Resurrection and the forgiveness of sins, we truly would not have many things to look forward to in life. Yet this celebration of Easter reminds us how we hope to be with family and friends once again in the promise of Heaven. Death no longer has any power over us! Christ has triumphed and risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! We rejoice in all those who have received the Sacraments this Easter at the Easter Vigil. We received three adults into the Church and baptized one adult and four youths. Two additional people received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Welcome to our St. Catherine community of faith! A special thank you to all our volunteers and choir members, cantors, and musicians who helped us make our celebration of Easter go so well. On behalf of the priests and deacons of St. Catherine, as well as all our staff, we wish each of you and your families a Blessed and Holy celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection. Happy Easter! Thanks for reading! Fr. Mark
