Dear Parishioners, Since the beginning of the Church on Pentecost, the Catholic Church has always been a missionary Church. The Holy Spirit allowed the Apostles to speak to the crowds gathered around them in their own languages. Those who heard these men proclaim the Good News wondered and were amazed how that was even possible. The work of the Church had just begun. On this first weekend in July, we welcome Fr. Mark Enemali C.S.Sp. from the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. It is an opportunity for him to speak about the missionary work of his congregation and he will be asking for your support to help with these missions. On this first weekend of July, we also bid farewell to Fr. Tom McNally. With his new assignment that begins this week, he doesn’t have to travel more than a couple of miles to St. Monica as their parochial vicar. We wish Fr. Tom well and we will probably see him around Hackett as their chaplain or at the St. Monica campus. Fr Antony Rajesh will be moving in this week and will be with us for several months to assist here at St. Catherine.
Welcome Fr. Antony! Have a safe holiday week! May God bless America! Thanks for reading! Fr. Mark
