Dear Parishioners, I know that everyone doesn’t like to talk about snow, but since it’s now the middle of November, we need to talk about snow. In particular, we need to talk about the possibility of snow days. For the last couple of years, we haven’t had to worry about snow days here at the parish very often because the number of in person events at the parish were muted by the pandemic. However, in the past, we tied a snow day at the parish with the cancellation of Portage Public Schools. We are changing our snow day policy this year!We are no longer following this arrangement. We will be open regardless if Portage Public Schools are closed or not. We will always have daily Mass, but we ask that if the weather is poor, that you use your best judgment. However, if the local or State Police are advising that you should stay off the road, we ask you to follow their guidance. In the event that we find it necessary to cancel programs, please check our website, Facebook page, or local TV or radio announcements. Thanks for reading! Fr. Mark
