Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the Diocese of Kalamazoo begins in the first grade. Likewise, Confirmation is a two-year process that begins in the seventh grade. Regardless of your child’s grade level, if your child has not completed their first year of sacramental preparation, they must do so before they will be admitted to the second-year of sacramental preparation.
