Meet Maureen Dague and her daughters, Annika, Gabrielle and Erin. Volunteering is a trait that runs strong through these ladies! Maureen lectors and, after Mass reopened in 2020, there was a need for ushers at the 5:00 pm Mass, so all three daughters answered the call to help! Both Annika & Gabrielle have volunteered with VBS and Maureen has taught preschool and 1st grade Faith Formation classes. The family came to St. Catherine's in 2008 from St. Edward's in Mendon. Maureen decided on St. Catherine's because of all the children's activities and families. They all enjoy being involved and being part of the church helps build their faith. The girls are each 4 years apart, so the year Annika made her first communion, was the year Erin was born. Fr. Bob was wonderful and did a small baptism for Erin in the chapel prior to first communion. It was very special that Annika and Erin share a sacrament day with each other! Annika heads off to Purdue University- Northwest as a freshman in August. She will be studying marketing and running cross country. Gabrielle will be a freshman at Schoolcraft High School, where she enjoys volleyball and softball and Erin loves art and trying all sports, she will be in 5th grade. Maureen enjoys yoga, quilting, reading and being a softball scorekeeper. The family enjoys quality time together by being on the ski slopes or at their family place on Coldwater Lake where they first met Fr. Mark when attending St. Mary's in Bronson. Please pray for extra blessings on this wonderful family!
