Having young families in the pews at Mass is so important to our parish. It is a testament to the values and faith we all want to instill in our children. Brittany and Adam Schroer are a wonderful example of this! The couple's three children, Lily (6), Palmer (4) and Jack (3) are able to see how important serving God is through the involvement of their parents here at our parish. Brittany is a coordinator and member of our parish MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) group and most recently she was co-coordinator of running our very successful and fun VacationBible School. After not having VBS for two years, Brittany did a fantastic job restarting the program for the parish. Father Mark considered putting Lily, Palmer, and Jack on the payroll because they were at the church so often helping out their mom! The family loves being outdoors together, working in their garden, spending time at the lake, and planning when to take their next Disney vacation. The Schroer family have been members here at St. Catherine's for three years, and love the sense of community and seeing many young families at Mass. By being a part of MOPS and VBS, Brittany has really enjoyed meeting fellow young mother parishioners and the kids have loved meeting so many new friends. Thank you to the Schroer family for all you do for our parish and may your example inspire other young families!
