To assist in the elevation of liturgical worship and prayer through music.

Cantors assist the people gathered to sing their praise of God together in one musical voice. They lead and encourage the assembly in their singing, and often sing the verses of the responsorial psalm and other musical parts of the liturgy.

Cantors receive training and mentoring before they sing at liturgy, and rehearsals are arranged with the Pastoral Associate for Music Ministry.
