Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver the boxes of food on Wednesdays at 11:00 am, and Fridays at 8:00 am. Catholic Charities provides a list of addresses for food recipients and the delivery route. Most locations are in Kalamazoo/Portage and surrounding areas (Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, Mattawan, Parchment, etc.). Catholic Charities will contact food recipients in advance to let them know you are coming. Drivers use their own vehicle; a commercial driver’s license is not required. You can either drive on your own or have someone else come with you. Drivers must be at least 19 years of age and able to lift 20-to-30-pound boxes of food. This is a great opportunity to help out those in need!
