Dear Parishioners, Hosanna in the highest! Hosanna to the King! As we begin this Holy Week with our palms, we see how Jesus enters Jerusalem. The people recognize Jesus for what He truly is. But as it is with many things in life, so many people turn against him or will scatter when Jesus is led to his crucifixion. Yet we are reminded how Jesus freely does all this. He is ready to release the world from the grips of sin and death by His Resurrection! I invite you to please join us for the many liturgies of Holy Week here at St. Catherine. Spend some time with the Lord on Holy Thursday. Come, venerate the Cross on Good Friday. Welcome our new Catholics as they are baptized or received into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Celebrate with joy the Lord’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday. As we have done in past years, please note the changes in the Mass schedule this coming week due to the liturgies of Holy Week. There will not be any daily Mass in the morning on Thursday, Friday or Saturday this week. The first Mass on Easter morning will be at 7 AM! (instead of the normal time of 7:30 AM) and there will NOT be a 5 PM evening Mass on Easter Sunday. Confessions will be offered on Good Friday evening before the Stations and also Holy Saturday morning at the normal 11 a.m. time. May these days of Holy Week bring you closer to Christ! Thanks for reading! Fr. Mark
