This coming week, we will be celebrating the Solemnity of All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation. Please join us for a Vigil Mass at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night, October 31st, or at 9:15 a.m. or 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1st. As we celebrate the faith of all who have gone before us, we are reminded how we, too, are working to become saints! It’s not easy to live the life of a saint, the life of someone who follows Christ. Yet, it is something that all of us are called to aspire to.
On Thursday, November 2nd, All Souls Day, we remember all family members and friends who are no longer with us. The loss may have been very recent, or it could have been many years ago. On the evening of the 2nd, we will have our annual Remembrance Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to join us for this time of prayer, especially parish families who lost someone in the past year. May their souls, and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
If you haven’t done so already, mark your calendars and plan to join us for our Fall Festival. This will be in 2 weeks, following the 11 a.m. Mass, on Sunday, November 12th. Please consult the bulletin today for additional details.
