Dear Parishioners,
Donuts are back! Now I realize, as a pastor, that writing about donuts is probably not the most spiritual thing that a pastor can write about in his column. But our homemade donuts have brought many smiles, helped parishioners and friends to catch up, and our community to grow. Please join us in Marian Hall on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the morning after the 7:30 AM, 9 AM, and 11 AM Masses.
Parents, please remember that our Fall Faith Formation schedule begins next weekend. The younger groups will be in the classrooms in Marian Hall and the older youth will be in Confirmation classes in the Stanley Centre. Many of our other programs have started or are getting ready to start. We are definitely back to our Fall schedule!
Let’s all pray for good Fall weather in the next few weeks. Like many of us who have experienced tornado or storm damage during the past few months, our contractors want to keep working on our houses and buildings because we know what is coming soon. One positive thing for us here at the church: we won’t have as many leaves to pick up this fall! However, at some point, we will need to think about planting a few trees again, especially along the West drive. All of this takes some time, and we continue to make progress on restoring and rebuilding each and every day at St. Catherine of Siena.
Thanks for reading!
