Dear Parishioners, If you missed out on our Parish Picnic last weekend, you missed good food, fun, prizes, and a nice time to visit with your fellow parishioners. There are many volunteers to thank, and unfortunately, too many to list here. Our Picnic Committee has been working on this for several months and a big thanks goes to all of you who helped us put this annual event together. We also appreciate all the donors who donated items for the raffles and other items for the picnic. As we begin our Fall schedule, watch for other parish events like donuts after the Sunday Masses and other special events that will be coming up soon. By this time, I’m sure that you have heard about the “nice” problem we had as we tried to begin our Faith Formation classes: We had more students enrolled than Catechists and assistants to help with our classes. That forced us to postpone classes a few weeks until we could get these positions filled. The updated schedule can be found on our website. As of the time that I’m writing this column, there are still a few spots open. Please contact George Dragan to find out additional information about which classes are still open for volunteers. Also, our Confirmation classes and Youth Ministry will also be starting in a few weeks. Volunteers are needed for this as well. Thanks for reading! Fr. Mark
