While we are always busy at St. Catherine's, Lent is a particularly busy time for us. We're going to do our best to keep you up to date on everything happening at the parish (as well as online) to help you make this a blessed Lent.
We continue to have "drive-in" confessions in our main parking lot every Saturday from 11 am until 12 pm. With the colder weather and snow, sometimes our clergy sit in their cars to stay warm in between confessions. Please look for their vehicles and remember to leave some distance between your car and anyone waiting for confession in front of you.
This Sunday, February 21st, St. Catherine's will host a visitation for our long-time Deacon, Ed Feltes, from 2 pm until 5 pm in the main Church. The visitation will be followed by a Rosary at 5 pm in the main Church.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to accommodate the visitation and the rosary,
the 5 pm Sunday Mass will be moved to the GYM in the Stanley Centre on Sunday, February 21st ONLY. Signs will be posted on the main Church doors as a reminder, but please spread the word about this change! Thank you for your help! For the complete details on Deacon Ed's funeral arrangements, please see the posts on
our websiteor
our Facebook page.
We ordered a supply of "Little Black Books" for Lent and put them out this past weekend. They are gone. If you missed the opportunity to buy one, you can purchase one directly from littlebooks.org. You can also purchase the Little Black Book as an eBook for about $4.00 for
your Kindle, your
Apple device, or your
Android device. To purchase the eBook from the Google Play store, please go to
https://play.google.com and search for "Little Black Book 2021" or use your phone to scan the QR code below.
