We have had some Flocknote issues where people’s notifications for Flocknotes have been turned off. As we work with Flocknote to diagnose and solve the issue, we are recommending the following in the meantime:
1. Please ensure you’re not unsubscribing from emails accidentally, or that they’re not landing in spam or your junk email.
2. Please also set [email protected] as a contact in your email contacts so that it isn’t marked as junk or spam.
3. If you’re unsure whether your notifications are on and would like to check past notes, here’s what you’ll do:
a. Visit flocknote.com
b. Select “login,” (in the upper-right corner.)
c. There, you’ll enter the email that you shared with us for Flocknote.
d. Insert the code that is sent to your email where it asks for a code.
e. Once you’re in, click the icon of a person on the left side.
f. Once you do that, you’ll see to the right, your profile information and your various groups should show up.
g. You can then see if your correct email is in your profile, and if the email notifications are off for the groups that you’re a part of. If it’s off, it will be grey, if it’s on, it will be blue. If you’d like to turn them off or on, please click the icon and ensure it changes to the correct color.
If you need help checking or with any of these steps, please message us at [email protected] and let us know which groups you would like us to check and the email that should be receiving Flocknotes.
Please note:
If you think you missed some notes, you can click “My Notes” on the left side to see all the notes you have received. You can also select the specific groups you need to check and see all the notes sent out.
Even if we do turn on notifications, it’s possible the glitch could continue. We recommend doing an occasional check on the actual website of the notes sent out. Thank you for your patience as we wait for a response from Flocknote about this potential bug.
