Here is an update from our St. Vincent de Paul Conference regarding what we are doing during this time. For safety reasons we do not interview at Church nor are we holding in-person meetings. Our members are meeting on ZOOM. On May 21st we gathered wearing masks, gloves and socially distancing. We emptied the food from our pantry and took it to Catholic Charities where they pack and deliver food to any family in need. That food went out May 27. We also took some fresh produce and distributed it to the 12 Baskets food program on Portage Road so nothing would go to waste. Requests for assistance are being handled via telephone and email. At this time we are not accepting food donations or non-bridge items at Church. We have no way to access them or to distribute them to individuals. We still accept monetary donations which can be mailed directly to the Church. We will present a breakdown of our expenses at a future date. We appreciate your generosity and will resume distribution from Church when it is deemed safe.

Daily Mass resumes tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th, at 9:15 am in Marian Hall. Daily Masses will be held Monday through Friday at 9:15 am in Marian Hall (NO Saturday morning Daily Mass due to our need to prepare for our weekend Masses). Please plan to enter the church building through the Marian Hall doors for Daily Mass; all other church entrances will be locked. We ask that you please wear a mask when in the church building, and also bring hand sanitizer with you. The chairs in Marian Hall have been spread apart to allow for adequate social distancing, so things will look different than "normal". We ask for your patience and understanding as we try to adjust to our "new normal" (for now) and do everything we can to make your Mass experience a safe one. We look forward to seeing some of you tomorrow morning!

We asked our Children’s Faith Formation (CFF) children to create artwork to donate to nursing homes locally to help brighten a community member’s days. We are thrilled to report we met our goal of 300 pieces of artwork. We will share these masterpieces at Brookdale Assisted Living and Centre Meadows Senior Apartments. Parish children from ages 1-10 participated with some writing page-long letters to seniors! The artwork and positive messages were outstanding. Thank you to all who helped with this CFF service project. We appreciate all you do to help us spread the love of Jesus! To see more examples of the artwork received, please click on the article title to see the Photo Album on the Children's Faith Formation page.
